A former City forensic accountant, Angela was born in Edinburgh after her parents left India for Scotland. Her father, a vegetarian Hindu, ran restaurants across the country and warned her off a culinary career. Thankfully, it proved impossible to suppress her natural talent and passionate desire to share her lifelong understanding of not just the tastiest recipes, but the whole backstory to choosing the best ingredients, menu combinations for a healthy lifestyle, and the taste sensations that inform our eating.
